@ZHeI2fk-2jgt you are wrong! They can key a SIF in club. You keep wi-fi off, on the In field iPads. If you key a membership at the desk using desk iPads it shows up as In Club. If you have the wi-fi on infield iPads they know you're in the club. They can keep wi-fi off and key a membership anywhere and it shows out in field 😁

Um, those of you who are saying that SIF is done on the IPads at the Club...No. That hasn't been possible since Membership Express rolled out. If your clubs are doing that, then none of the signups are being counted toward SIF because the new system rejects the SIF code if the IPad creates the Membership in the Club (about 10 minutes after the Membership is created).

So y'all are either making stuff up or your Marketing manager and lead are seriously screwing your SIF numbers because they don't know what's going on.

Our marketing always do her memberships in club and the manager always helping her . He will always bring the iPad and tells us to do it on that iPad.

The old marketing lead at my club got caught doing Uber/Lyft and faking his sign ups. Went into the GM one day and showed on his Ipad all the sign ups he was getting. However some report the market team gets was saying something else.

Our marketing associate and team leader come in morning have coffee hangs out at office and desk then they go out for couple of hours. they sometimes get membership at the desk and enter as sold in field lol....I don't even know if they are producing any new accounts such west...now days group on has deals and other social media too. No need to west payrolls

Wow. The OP pretty much sums up the attitude of the company toward ALL of its associates. Disrespectful of associate contribution and just all-around heartless attitude. Like someone else commented: the higher the horse, the harder the fall...and our insurance s*cks so good luck with that lol

Yes. Costco has a membership team that we're at a lot of events with. They don't have to work all the different depts that my team lead and I do. I'm ready to get some unemployment and sit back and laugh. We have AT LEAST 30 businesses that we go to yearly and offer renewals and new membership.

Those who think marketing does nothing......come work one day with me! Membership is 100% profit. This year alone my team lead and I have brought in New members........75+ a month!!! Last month on blitz we lead our market, region and was top 10 club wide.

Y’all up in there acting like you really know what your marketing teams do. Funny. Speaking as a long term MARKETING associate, you all are ignorant. We work on the weekends, we work long days, we work in everyone else’s area bc they clearly can’t handle them.I don’t take your sh-- talking personally, bc we always produce consistent numbers. We work hard. But you know what, we’re also tired of hearing how useless we are. So I cannot wait until they eliminate us. I will gladly take unemployment, sit back and watch as the entire membership program in every store tanks. Good luck getting your quarterly sams share without us!

We need both . Social media can do it all. There are thousands of events,small towns, etc. social media will not be able to get most of these. It could be a great combination.

If your Marketing Team never leaves their office, maybe you should be looking at the managers and asking why. Our Marketing is in the field atleast 4 days of the week, unless being held in by management. Also, if you say they are always in their office maybe you need more work to keep you busy

Well you better start caring. Memberships are 100% profit. Company survey satiated marketing brought in 40 % of the memberships. You don’t see the marketing team because they are doing their job. It it not who you see it’s what you are doing. Are you doing your job or just looking for who you see? You must be relatively new to make that statement. The Sam’s Share you receive is helped by marketing since it’s all profit.
