New produce lead at my club said that produce was super easy. He’s only been In the position a day. This a $20 an hour position.

The produce TL in our club worked hard. Besides produce she helped in all area's. She earned and had our respect. She left and she will be hard to replace. She taught her produce team a lot and worked right beside them.
You're taking the word of someone who had been there for only 1 day?
Produce is not easy, but, it is the easiest of fresh. There is depth to produce and aspects of running a fine tuned department that is somewhat absent in most clubs. I am happy to see the pay raises, but it surely s---s for tenured associates! They need to raise your pay too...
Produce lead and produce in general is easy.
