Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

The 1% on here

For the less than 1% of the workforce on here b--ching have you noticed how stock continues to climb so maybe they are doing something right. You may not agree with it, I myself disagree with alot of it but I am willing to go along with the changes as long as my 401 continues to grow. I have less than 10 years remaining and I can retire with a nice little nest egg. I can just about bet all those b--ching on here still live with there parents and have not once thought about there future all they see is how unfair it is that the company wants them here to take care of members and what they don't realize is those member are the reason they have a job. This company or any other company does not owe you one thing. You simply work for them and if you are smart enough will invest in there 401 program that they will match and you can take it with you when you leave, you can also buy stock they they will match at 15% that you can withdraw at anytime without penalties but again most on here thinks they are owed something. If its too much go find another job that seems to be the trend today jump from one job to another. IF you work for someone else there is always going to be something you will not agree with. Let the voting down begin because people don't like to hear the truth.

I recommend all Sams and Walmart employees STOP buying Walmart stock all over the country. Dont sell what you have and wait a couple of months. If you have a 401K make sure you are putting in 6% every pay check. Walmart matches up to 6%. That`s free money. What do you think will happen?

Hey OP What are you a statistician? You're talking nonsense. And you're being smug and irritating about it. That's a nasty combination. Read the other comments from the actually intelligent people here and try to wake up and smell the thorns. You're delusional.

So as long as Walmart stock does fine, they won't close Sam's Club? You're naive.

It's obvious you're only looking at their stock numbers. You're not looking at what's going on behind the scenes and that real people are not the ones buying into it. It's the company putting their own money in it in order to look good. It's all fake. We only have MAYBE one year left before this market crashes again. You're also looking at things as if this company will be around in 10 years. Well kid, the odds are not in your favor. Don't say you weren't warned. Keep those rose colored glasses on. It might be a good idea to buy some Kleenex in bulk because you're going to need them.

Definitely written by someone paid to give the other side of the story.

So when is the stock going to split?

They're buying it back to make it look good. Is that doing something right?

Your 401K would be much bigger if they were to pay you fair wage, if they were to divert a bit of $$$ from exec pay into worker pay, if they were to stop deterioration of our benefits package, if they were to be more humane when it comes to working schedules and conditions.

You will work those 10 extra years you need to retire, then you'll get sick and give all $$$ saved to those overpriced doctors and hospitals. What a life to live...

Enjoy your retirement.
