Vacation Pay

I voluntarily left Xerox in the middle of May and I still have not received my unused vacation pay. Does anyone know how long Xerox takes to pay for unused vacation? Should I have received my check by now? and who do I contact to get paid, HR/Payroll?.

you should let your manager know and have him do the work. I received my unused vacation pay about a month after I left Xerox.

Update: I emailed AskHR at noon on Friday, I received a reply with in the hour stating that a ticket was opened, by 4 that afternoon I received a notice saying the check was in the mail and I had a FedEx envelop on my porch Saturday afternoon. This puts an official end to my relationship with Xerox, I wish all the best of luck regardless which direct this situation takes you.

It took 2 pay cycles for mine but it may really depend on whether your manager put it in. I scanned my vacation entitlement to my manager immediately following my exit interview.

Update: I contacted AskHR and they opened a ticket today, I'll post once the status changes.

It's been 6 weeks since I left Xrx, that's plenty of time for them to cut me a check.

Left in March and received my vacation check maybe 3-4 weeks ago.

I refused the HCL offer and left on April 5. My last paycheck deposited on April 12, and a deposit for unused vacation time landed on April 19. Sounds like I was lucky in terms of timing!

For legacy Xerox they try to avoid paying vacation or parts of severance (excess benefit). They pay if you call them out on it, saying “administrative error”. Seems intentional but maybe their backend systems are really that bad. You make the call.

I voluntarily left Xerox in March, and my vacation pay was the same day as my as final pay, and through Direct Deposit as normal. It may have been a separate deposit, but it was definitely the same day.

If you left xerox, contact your HR from your core. If you left HCL, good luck. Vacation and all outstanding reimbursement and pay, should be on your last check. Always.
