And 90% of the rumors you have heard have not been true. They aren’t rumors if they were confirmed and told before hand....which the bulk of the true info on here was already known an announced. YUGE difference brah...YUGE...y’all need a websters.

The rumor has been confirmed by magpie the realmagpieforrealsies that an imaginary phone call took place that he overheard the director of jenks say imaginary things then he confirmed imaginary things with managers at ramp that can’t confirm imaginary things of who bought it. Sounds totally legit...too legit to quit.

Why would Progress Rail buy the South Morrill Diesel shop ? In 2008 they sold it to UP. UP tore out all the air reels ,oil drain pumps and oil filling pumps before they closed the doors. And by the way before UP bought out Progress Rail we where Machinist with the I.A.M. we where always union.
Well from what I’ve seen here and heard about 90% of the rumors are true. Why would you say it couldn’t get out. Maybe just maybe in the higher ups has a heart and understands what they are doing to people’s lives is wrong. The selling of jenks rumors has been floating around now for several months. The announcement was supposed to made in July with a take over January 1.
I’m all for as much as much info as possible cause like I said most have come true. At least at my current location.
Perhaps it was removed because there is zero truth to it. I tend to notice those are the ones that get removed and the ones with personal attacks on them such as name calling etc.
I noticed that post is gone too, because I was one of the ones that made a comment about it! I didn’t see anything vulgar or anything by anyone,but it must have hit a nerve!
Something must be happening there. Last night there was a post titled JENKS. It was talking about someone overheard the jenks director confirming shutdown at the end of the year. That whole thread was removed. Not just some comments deleted as usual Gone. To hear how the new cmo felt about jenks doesn’t surprise me if it makes it till the end of the year.
Also heard yesterday some guys from the south moral shop saying the shop there was sold to progress rail.
