The true score would be even lower as many didn’t respond since they had no trust that the results were anonymous. The survey needs to be managed by an outside agency that guarantees anonymity, and the methods need to be transparent. Until this happens the results are invalid.
Sounds like management still has -54 to go in order to get to the attrition levels in the U.S. that they are striving to meet. Luckily they are only half way into the year, so they still have time.
I’d love to discuss survey results with my boss, or better yet skip level. When I walk out, I will send a string of carefully worded & orchestrated emails out to various groups with my parting thoughts and now with the recent email about survey results a ‘send all’ would capture
500 in engineering group.
So much for it being anonymous. I was just confronted by my manager about my comments in the review. The deception just never ends here......
@fkw,. JE fired.. Hardly. That joker will get his bonus, be inline for a promotion and to get the survey results up he will savage his front line TMs. Telling them to sell the benefits of working for Honeywell or else. I'm sure there is already discussion around feedback from individual groups and teams with actions (talking points if you will) being flowed down to managers, to get the results up or face 9 block discipline. In other word the beatings will not stop until moral improves.
And why do they care about the feedback... possibly marketing material for recruitment of the uniformed and guillable.
I was copied on email, but was not recepient of request to complete survey. I think they even mishandled the survey already to skew results. JE should be fired: 1) for survey results; 2) for being so clueless that morale was sooooooo bad.
I am also interested if these results were communicated upward all the way to DA.
Based on the comments I've been seeing on this board, I'm actually surprised it wasn't worse than -46.
The "minus 46" is the score for Aero DV survey results on a possible range of -100 to +100. Plus 100 means you would highly recommend working here to a friend. Someone already posted the e-mail that came with the result as a comment. I think this score is spot on accurate. This is very encouraging that they are finally asking a relevant question and putting out honest results. I'm sure the negative folks that love this thread will comment otherwise, but this score is accurate and a good sign that we are ready to deal with reality.
This thread is possibly irrelevant for other sites, but a lot of the reasons for the low score are due to the Hon corporate culture, so still pretty applicable.
For those of us who want to think forward on a career with hope for improvement, we do seem to be near bottom of this cycle of poor leadership decisions and we can be hopeful for some improvements and some good decisions. I can hear the negative comments coming, lol. I can't imagine life with the negative and gloomy attitudes displayed on this board. I like reading them for humor but on some level I do have concern for their health. Enjoy the ride people. If you hate the ride, pick another or help make the ride better.
I see this place never got any better. I can't understand how any self caring person is still putting their time into this hole. Maybe just to get closer to retirement is the only real excuse to stay. I left 3 years ago (retired at 59) best move ever. I was Aero Phx. It was bad then worse now.
Good luck to all.
-46 could be worse
uhhhh I don't know how
maybe if my Adam D. wine sampling
at $500 a bottle
only tasted like $400 a bottle wine
then, as a major CEO,
I would feel angry, screwed,
and shut down a few more facilities quickly
while drinking expensive wine in my wine dungeon in my Honeywell whitey tightly undewear
Wow, pulse is a brilliant name
fumble after the Florida m---acre
but EEI is just a small daily soul & life
the average annual Honeywell daily life damage probably less
than the Pulse Nightclub single event damage
cite a website on the -46 rating
por favor
What is be means
Is means whats is be dis "Menos 46"
The happy scale where +100 most, 0 netual, -100 is hell no ;
Don't worry, in the next round he will have more of those in Indiar and PR selected as random as they are happy enough just to have a roof over their heads , and a pot to ....
One of the HI behaviors is to be a Zealot. Looks like leadership took that one to heart.
(this was the email) Dear colleague,
As committed, I am sharing the results of the first People Pulse launched on June 17.
While it doesn’t feel good to see such a low rating, it is currently where we are and how we feel about our organization.
The vast majority of my team and I have been in Aerospace engineering leadership positions over the past decade. Being a part of how we got here, all of us are committed to leading the change that will make ES Engineering a great place to work.
We are distilling the comments that were provided to better understand the specific issues and guide the actions we will take to improve our work environment and culture. In the coming weeks, I will share the concerns, communicate the plans on how we will address the areas we can control, and be transparent on the areas we do not control or cannot affect.
I want to sincerely thank those that participated in the first People Pulse. We’ll continue to roll it out every two weeks to a new set of randomized engineers. If you receive it, please click on the appropriate ‘temperature’ that represents your feeling and provide any additional, candid comments. Again, your input is completely anonymous - it’s through these comments that we get a better glimpse as to the ‘why’ behind your score selection.
John
-46 was a lot better than they thought it would be. That means they can crank the EEI up a little bit more.
double post because it is relevant.
Now I understand why the word GRMN comes up so often among the ALT.
Hey JE-- want to fix your little "happiness meter" -- emulate the right company.
