Notice period

BNYM can lay-off that day. What is the notice period from an employee standpoint in the UK should you wish to leave?

Clawback may be for upper levels, not most people. But it’s interesting that someone subject to clawback might actually be reading this blog.

Clawback on compensation is not applicable in most situations in the US. Please be more specific so as to not spread inaccurate information.

Hoping UK is not like US.

Here, we are subject to clawback of compensation if we quit, also do not qualify for unemployment.

So just quitting is not a good option for us. To avoid financial disruption, we must tolerate the awful working conditions until we find alternative employment.

Ask to be laid off and maybe you’ll get out the door quicker.

And if you can get SUB in UK, maybe you can get that “bonus” from being let go.

Good luck!
