Why the hate? Some people don't realize the stress of being in marketing. Phone calls, building relationships with people, going out and having to deal with a lot of rejection. Sometimes it might take months before getting a breakthrough to set up at a business. A lot of behind the scene things go on that you don't see or know about.
I enjoy it and it is definitely not the position for everyone. It is frustrating too dealing with some of the equipment we have to work with. A lot of professionalism is gone when you have an iPad not work correctly when you are in the process of selling a membership. I know there are ups and downs to every position and I have work enough in other area to know there are some perks that come along with working in marketing. There are different kind of stresses no matter where you are.
I hate to see anyone lose their position no matter what they do. It is easy to sit back and criticize others. I do my best not to judge others I work for and honestly what they do or don't do isn't my business. I have enough to deal with on my own.
What has happened to respect for the individual? Just because the company is doing thing we don't like let's not hate on each other.
