Our photo department has been closed more than we've been open in the past week. Members are having to come back 2 and 3 times to pick up photos or have ink refilled. We still haven't been able to teach a single person because we are so short staffed. Any other clubs having this problem?

About a month ago we had people come in and change our light in photo, 2 days later they took our whole light fixture out, heard we wasn’t getting them back. Still open for a the moment but this blocked schedule s---s we can’t even tell them when photo will be open. I’m part time and I’m thrown all over the place I don’t even have time to run photo anymore and that was the department I came from!
Our photo worked the block schedule for three days, which was horrible, on the 4th day management told him to go back to his schedule starting then, so he worked 4am-7pm. It was my understanding according to the market mgr that photo is a specialty department so they were not supposed to be on block schedule anyway. At our club the photo department is very busy so now everything is back to normal.
Haven't had photo in two years. People still coming in looking for a photo department. The crazy sht is that you order online and still pickup in club and no direct ship. We throw out more photo than people actually pickup since they don't have to prepay. It's a mess. No one keep track of it.
We blew em off today. Not a single soul in the club knew a blessed thing about photos. Told to come back in the morning.
YES. They put our full timer on to 4am-12:30, so every id--t in the store is in photo pushing buttons and screwing things up. Printers haven't worked in two days. I spent 7 hrs trying to print today. Retail imaging doesn't want to remotely help either. Probably didn't pay them.
They’ve kept the normal 10am-7pm shift for the photo associate for this week and next, but they will be transitioning over to 3pm-11:30pm in two weeks. Not really sure what will happen then!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA......yes photo..all us merchandisers are to learn it...but when? We dont have time for CBLs let alone learning photo. We are on the run from the time we hit the clock at 4 til we hit it at 1230...we neem 10 more people to be able to ado all we are supposed too. I believe local management gives fewer workers than home office allows in order to pad their own bonuses...
