Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

It comes down to management not holding people accountable! If they were held accountable things would be different, believe me!!

Look, as people most merchandisers are cool, but as workers, I have to agree with the other comments. They are terrible. Nothing short of standing there and explaining everything will get most to be above average. The ones that do are either promoted or quit for better jobs, leaving more openings for mediocre to subpar help.

I don’t think it has anything to do with my communication. These are repeat offenders. I address it with them once, give them a chance to improve and address that same things later on down the road. If I had to layout every single little thing in every single email every single time, they’d have a novel for an email. And I found they won’t read those thorough emails in their entirety. They’ll skim through.

They’re grown adults (that have been employed for quite some time) that have or currently work in the grocery business so they should have the knowledge on how to do the job aside from our standards. Can’t get rid of them cause RMS says “ better to take what we can get than to have nobody”. Maybe a BBQ would help there performance? They might claim they never got the invite. Ahh NVM they’ll be right. I never sent it 😂

sounds like you should communicate with them better as to how to do things correctly and to your liking. I understand some s--- but that’s due to poor hiring, management and training. Poor work quality employees don’t last long here

I’ll be so kind to give you mine. Just a heads up, they don’t rotate. They can’t read shelf tags or UPCs correctly. They think vision to win is anything that is left over from the order. They don’t front the shelf. They can’t build hutches right. Their phone seems to die when you call them. They put product behind the shelf pushers. Can’t keep back stock organized. You’d love em!
