There has been a lot of talks in the Western Mass stores about Unions again. Ridiculous quotes and sales metrics, low head counts, and micro management.

I want my store to go union asap. Tired of being treated unfairly and so are the rest of the employees.
Even my SM wants to go union at this point.
If you notice a lot of union talk in stores I can guarantee you a few things. Management immediately alerts the DM who in turn reports it to HR. The store or district will get HR and director visits specifically to address union talk. Something has got to give regarding the 30-40% increase in quotas though. The increase is a giant FU to anyone on commision. The quota increase guarantees the company will pay out a lot less commission then the previous month. What a great new 2.0 formula : work harder to make less commission, micromanage us to death, and shell out negative coachings never emphasizing any positive about any part of the sale.

I tried to unionized my store and one day I come in to find out that half the staff was getting transfer to other stores.
I don't think Verizon wants stores anymore.
