I've been seeing a lot of posts regarding management in clubs... I see a lit of comments saying management just sits in the office... I for one, am not that kind of manager. I've worked 30 days straight, no breaks, no vacations. Working 2pm to 4am shifts to keep the club afloat. It's not fair to categorize all mgmt in the same category.

If you are working 14 hours days everyday you should find another profession cause it clearly shows you have no time management learn to prioritize so you can get your stuff done without working like a dog just saying
I am also a long term associate and manager . Just come off nights working straight thru to help my associates and also get club ready for members . I have never been one to sit in office ..I am the only manager in my club that stays on floor being productive . The others just do whatever and stay in office. So yes there are good managers . I dont point fingers. .. I like to be with my associates helping and teaching them merchandising and how to take pride in their work. It's hard to get things done the right way. .I agree. But we will do what we can and hope for the best. Good luck to all.

In reply to the replies...If you were making management money, with this amount of hours it would equate to $7 dollars an hour... never said it was working this much was a good thing... this was in reply to get rid of all managers statements in which i see over and over again... I for one, couldnt see it... and agree to disagree

Get what your sayin but you are seriously giving way to much of yourself to a company thats just using you. They know they got you if you think working so hard and so many hours is a good thing. No disrespect as I worked those long hours and all work all the time. My family raised me to not waste time but earn your paycheck. So many other companies will pay you what you are worth and you don't have to waste your life away working so many hours. Caring about people, having a strong work ethic & high integrity are not valued like they were years ago. I just hate to see someone like you who sounds like you care and give a lot be treated so bad. And, they will continue to. You may not see it now but history will prove it. Thank you for your efforts at least.

No one ever said that ALL managers sit in offices but clearly it's something alot of managers do and the lack of present and active leadership is hurting the Associates and the clubs. Instead of coming on here saying "but what about MEEE?!", hold your fellow managers accountable and get them to do some work to change the perception.

I would too if I was making management pay. Not all mangers are bad. So thank you if you do help your employees. To many chiefs not enough Indians
