Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

This will not last

This was never to be a permanent solution, this was just an elaborate way to get rid of the remaining employees with higher-than-average pay. Once the goal has been achieved - and we are all seeing that it's working, people are quitting on daily bases - they will have an"epiphany" and revert to the old system.

I might be wrong about this, but I honestly think that's what's going to happen.

You may last but probably shouldn't

Don't think it'll change.. at least not for some time.. they spent too much time getting all the DC's to change over plus ho doesn't like to think they are wrong

You are speaking as if the club is staying the same. They club itself is going to shrink into Sam's Club Now stores. They will not need as many people period. It doesn't matter if you're long term or not. They will not need as many people.

At our club the long term associates are staying not these wimpy young folks that can't handle work. So it's not working here if that's the plan

I don't understand why people jump so quick to quit. I'm like you, give it a few months, let things shake out.
