I feel ya lls pain that's why I left after 18 years. Some of my reasons way to may to list.....in consistent managers, favoritism, policy violations, integrity at the registers and time clock, stealing time, associates not trained properly etc. If you leave you will lose personal and sick. I lost 192 hours of sick and 101 personal hours. I did get all my pto, ppto and accured pto. If you can leave i would run fast without looking back. I truly loved my job until the last couple of years. The leadership and moral took a nose dive and that's when my passion went away.

Good luck folks I feel your pain.

I’m thinking about quitting. I have been employed for 20+years and have seen a lot of changes. With all of the recent changes and more responsibilities added to me and the time frame to get things done is almost impossible. And no raise for me because I already make above the base pay for Merchandise Lead. It’s all coming to the boiling point and I believe that enough is enough. I love my job but this company has just ruined my willingness to put up with more c-ap.

My question is ..... will I get paid my personal time and sick time that’s in the “bank”? I mean I earned every minute of it but can’t use it unless I care for a family member. It’s ridiculous. I just want what’s mine

My regional manager. He has the arrogance of our current president and the morals of the Ta----n.

When my position was eliminated I was told I would keep my pay rate. When it came time to sign the paperwork, the cm lied and said she never said I would keep my pay. My new pay rate was less than what I started at and I couldn’t afford to stay. On top of that, everyone was expected to do more and more with less and less people. We had coworkers getting hurt every week. I didn’t want to risk getting hurt. I’m happier now somewhere else.

28 years. No appreciation. Terrible communication. Boredom was too much. But the real deciding factor was an assistant that got bounced to many clubs, and was just the worst. He tipped the scales......

I was with the company over 16 years, when I found out MSS are getting a $7.00 raise, to be up there were I was. I had enough, I gave everything to this company and earned every penny I was making. Very sad, that someone being in a position for 5 weeks making the same then a long term employer. It was definitely time to move on.

The constant closing of departments, lowering raises to 2%, management pushing for more all the time, no appreciation, putting anyone in a position and not training appropriately, expecting us to live for the company instead of our families.

Constant addition of job responsibilities while keeping wages fairly frozen.

When I was in my early 20s I had three kids in 5 years. It was too much to handle work with a large family, so I took a 14 year break from working. I came back to Sam's and I like it here.
