I wonder, how many people still see their promotion and career path at BNYM clearly? Is there such a thing as building a career here anymore or is that just a thing of the past by now?
I personally don't think it's a possibility. With zero job security, there is no planning for the future. But I might be wrong...
Except for those who are about to give notice nobody truly knows if they will be working tomorrow.
You could be laid off anywhere. Here, assuming that you are immune to BE, you could have a normal career path, if you don’t mind the morale of people around you, and don’t want to be a manager that must enforce the policies. So consider if this environment has what you want to do, then give it your best effort. Good luck.
