Layoffs are now called staff action events. I received BE and survived the last staff action. But I have heard that only BE rated people will be let go. And I have also heard these waves will be every few months some will be in August and many more in November.
Is this credible information? If it is, any chance we can get more details on it?

If you are rated Below Expectations at any company (happened to me at another major financial firm) I suggest aggressively looking for another job. Even if you survive the layoffs, you potential, bonuses, growth is limited. Why do this to your career?
All you can do is BE PREPARED. Update resume, look around for options, save money, see a counselor, etc. Then you may cope better and land on your feet if something happens. Don’t freeze, or panic. DO THINGS that will benefit you and your family, whatever happens. Good luck!
Significant layoff seems to be at least every three months on 3rd Mon/Tues. Last was May, next Aug then Nov. Layoffs also at other times. Only guarantee: there will be layoffs. Good luck staying if you want to stay, going if you want to go.

I heard Markets was having layoffs this coming Monday July 8th. For those who do get let go. It’s good news. I was let go a year ago and it was the best thing to happen to me. For those left behind. I’m so sorry you have to continue suffering in that toxic environment
