Bill Way gets entrepreneur of the year? Whoever gives these great honors away must also be the ones who give out Nobel prizes. I guess stock prices are never considered in their determination. I guess he will get another big fat check and not think twice about the thousands laid off.

Just so we are on the same page, Chesapeake has 110% better assets. I would say the future at Chk is much brighter than Swn’s.
He laid off 40% of the company and then told everyone the layoffs were over and it would never happen again and then he turned around laid off more people. Also, the stock is in penny stock territory and you guys are down in the dumpster with Chesapeake. One more thing, you guys also do a trash job at paying off debt.

The CEO getting awards makes a lot of sense. It’s a publicity stunt to attract investors. SWN could use lots of help to be viewed as a favorable company.
