Announcement coming this monday. New role will replace marketing lead however. The marketing lead will not be eligible for this new role as it does not involve membership. The front end lead will take on the responsibility of membership 100% now. Marketing team will either get a severance package based on tenure. Or will be offered a job as a cashier or desk associate. Pay will also be adjusted to fit their new role as cashier and desk associate are lower level positions.

Happened in my.marlet today. So pong marketing tls. No longer can you sit in your car and chat on the phone or visit your friends workplaces.
Has anyone in marketing actually received any news? I’m Membership Lead at my store and nothing was brought to my attention today. In fact, even my direct manager knew nothing about it.
Folks are severance eligible if ft for one year. Read the policy.
Just give me my servance and ill say goodbye as this company is no longer what it use TOO be, stop the BS as we worry daily, so why should I bust my a-- for a company that no longer cares it a hell hole daily.
This is a bunch of BS. Nothing has been said to the clubs so if this is true then you are from HO. We all know it is coming it’s just a matter of how and when.
And what you said doesn’t entirely make sense since there is not one frontend lead but 4 at minimum. So get your facts straight and quit dreaming out people before there is concrete evidence. The announcement will be made and we will all be on the same page then. Until then it is mere speculation.
Why would marketing associates not be able to apply ? Most associates know more than just membership . Some have been with the company a long time and are versed in all areas of the club . Just asking ?
Severance package is for marketing associates in that specific role for 5 years or more.
