With Q2 results coming up, easy money is on an overuse of the following phrases “Lower for longer”, “operational excellence”, “winning”, “strength and resilience”, “free cash flow”.
Am I missing anything?

What happens when our stock becomes delisted? I have all of my retirement in SWN stock. I trust our leadership to get this right. That kool aid in the Market was tasty.
I don't work for SWN and never had. I just like knocking on our competition or lack thereof.
For the person who said no former employee.... I am a former employee. One that dedicated great work for a period of time. One that came in early and left late. Not like many of you that are still there complaining. Go find another job. This company is only in it for themselves, not for you or your family.
I have to tell you. It has been refreshing this week with the double combo of Way being out and the removal of the egg frittata from the menu. I can finally breathe again! Like when you finally find that allergy medicine that works! Thank you BOD for making the menu changes a top priority for July’s meeting!
TheJB is a former employee. Hahahahaha. Sad!! Such a brilliant post said no one ever!!
So you really can’t get on here once a week and scroll through 20 comments to check for your “real” lay-off news. You are the joke then..... you weren’t even trying and that’s the funniest thing on this thread.
It seems we are facing a “lower for longer” comedy environment on this site.
What’s lame is all the laid off employees who still come to this site multiple times a day and think this is boring stuff, Comedy Central. It’s not!!! This board is a life line for us to get “real” info about layoffs. Some of us have a family to feed. So no comments from former employees.
This site has become just f__ stupid these days with the same boring attempt at comedy
The Way doesn’t park. The Way “facilitates optimal stationary vehicle placement”.
Any other small news to report, bridge strengtheners? There’s got to me more, right? Any changes to the Market menu? Has Way learned how to park yet?
Great job my fellow cohort! Keep these masterpieces coming back to life! I still get a huge internal LOL when our CEO talk more
sophisticated than he actually is. His level of sophistication is one layoff for me and increase my compensation tenfold
“Forward momentum”
“Accelerating value”
“Reshape and reposition”
“Compete and win”
“Cost reduction opportunities”
“Relentless delivery of operational and technical excellence”
Howdy all! Sipping my coffee in the Market and breezing thru these posts. Great stuff and the post with all the fancy (actually funny sounding) phrases we would hear from management made me laugh. Went back into some old PowerPoints I saved and got these gems:
Actionable Focus
Surer Footing
Leadership Is A Privilege
Enduring Value + (Plus)
Anyone else got some favorite phrases from 2016 to current?
I will monitor this site over the next week or so and compile an overall list so that we can all get a few laughs. Heaven knows we need it around here at these dark times.
Come on everybody, take a few minutes and share this post with your “strategic cohorts” and let’s “strengthen the bridge” for a better SWN. Cause hey we know layoffs could happen so why not!
Hey guys! Just got to the northeast. I’ll join in on the fun based on combing through old slide decks. Here you go!
“Laser focus”
“Aggressive assault on margin”
“Strengthen the Bridge” (although this one may be retired)
“Stacked pay potential”
“Pivot”.
I’ll bet we can find all these fancy words in his journal, titled “fancy words I learned in business school”.
More:
“Egg Frittata’s for everyone!”
“Entrepreneur of the Year, Bill J Way”
“Who clogged the toilet in the 5th floor men’s room?”
“Who used my sacred plunger?”
“Transformational” or “transformed”
“Rebuilt”
“This will never happen again” ... again
