Working at IBM has turned into more of a chore than I ever expected. I used to love my job. Now, there is so much uncertainty, frustration, stress, politics.... I'm not sure which is worse and which is affecting my health more.
Sometimes it feels like quitting and getting a job at McDonald's would lead to a more peaceful life.
The same man the same. My health for last year is getting worse. Stress , stress , uncertain of the future. Manager lying all day long.
A lot of friends I ahve in IBM are feeling the same. Everybody is scared and affraid that they will be next to be kicked out. Managers sees only their gain and will betray they guys under them at the very first chance...
Endless reports, all nighters ,mandatory travel , and a toxic work environment landed me in serious medical trouble. When an RA was offered, I gladly accepted. I'm happy to say that my health improved and I like my new job much better. I really feel bad for those IBM Lifers who will never know anything better. I guess drinking that kool-aid will do it to you.

Yeah, no sh--. My health has gone south as well and I am currently interviewing with a few companies. As soon as I find something, I am out.
