So he donates 100k and now he's a bad guy cuz he's able to write it off? Anyone in his same position making that money including all of us would do the same thing if given the opportunity so quit lying to yourself. You do know if you donate the $5 you can claim it at end of year right? Same thing just different scale.
on a partial year 2018 basis of 14 million or so that he made.... thats .7% of his income just in lowes money...not counting whatever he made at penneys etc.. ive always thought these donation were tax schemes by these retailers. you donate...they collect....they then claim its all their money that was donated and they get the write off. kind of like when you checkout at a store and they want you to give a dollar for some charity.....always viewed that c-ap is a tax write off scheme cause why else do they do it?! not like these executives actually care about these charities. and you are given no receipt that you made a donation.
