I work my very best everyday I want to be promoted however my boss keeps telling me I will be I’m next as soon as a position opens up it’s mine all for me to find out he just gave it to someone else. Why do they play with peoples livelihood?????? I don’t feel there will ever be a place for me here I don’t know what I’m doing so wrong that I can’t even get full time to support my family

I’m sorry to hear this! Best advice is to move along! Mondelez is really a horrible place to work! They abuse power like none other and think they are above the law, and they are not. They bank on the theory that nobody will challenge them, but once you do, it’s a different story.
Since we all know dsd is ending, I’d move on if I were you! There are plenty of other jobs out there, and they all treat people with respect, something Mondelez knows nothing about.
No they didn’t interview me They only interviewed the person they hired for it because they hired new for it.
Did they interview for the position? Document everything! Management does indeed discriminate, no need to delete this post as a jury found them guilty! If this is the case, go to the EEOC!
Meanwhile, yes, the sooner you move on from Mondelez the better! You will see a world of difference!
Find something else! You will be so much happier!!
Who cares!!! We're all going to be demoted to the unemployment line soon!!! I wouldn't worry about getting promoted. You better start looking for other options of employment. Build your contacts. Create a networking strategy so you can have a exit plan when we get the pink slip.
Come to 298 it’s like a revolving door of id--ts from the bottom up my friend
You have to stand up for yourself to management here or they will walk all over you. Vulchers
Hey that’s not always true about the 1 year rule. I know a guy who finally went full time after 4 years!!! Lmfao they finally got desperate enough He is a good worker just a slow learner. He probably won’t ever go any higher then full time merchandiser tho. But as a general rule here if it takes you longer than ; okay I’ll be a littler more lenient if it takes you longer than 18 months to get a full time position you have no future with Mondelēz. For whatever reason it could be your not attractive your too old your too young your too fat your too slow your too dumb your personality s---s ( that’s a big one) if management can’t see you as a drinking buddy they will not promote you
How long have you worked here
If you have been here over 1 year and still part time there’s no hope for you.
Honey they will just keep telling you what you want to hear ! They only promote their pets
