Denver munchkins are having the car department make up repairs to boost efficiency. Bill all kinds of false work to system cars. Also having the Carmen break blue signal protection and perform illegal air tests on the Z train. Threatening layoffs and failure to comply. Allegedly.

Sounds like UP is pretty incompetent with who they hire then.

I work an agreement job (for about 10yr). I’m not going to quit but I’m also not scared to get furlough. If so I would transfer my ticket back to construction local and keep working. If they didn’t have enough work I would work on a traveling ticket. Work is out there. You have to be willing to do it. IBEW has Unfilled Calls daily. And most pay well. $35-55 per hour plus bennies. M-F 1st shift. Plus OT. I put in the time and work early in life to get JW license. I can make it outside the Railroad if I have to. The gravy rr days everyone thought they were going to lean on are over. Get over it

“Railroad” skills aren’t transferable to any other job. Most guys who started at an early age got in through family or family friends and thought they had a life pass. Shame on them for not learning any other marketable skills. The ones who are hoping for a call back are probably in the same boat. The railroad job glory days are over. Get used to it.

Believe it or not - their are railroaders doing this JOB since they were 18 years years old or fresh out of the military- and have been railroading for 30 years - so yes railroading is a life style -you FNG foamer ,

Unless you have a job soldering and k--ling the enemy , that’s all these guys know how to do

What is that supposed to mean - this is why I’m starting to hate this sight ! Peoples lives are pending on theses jobs , they come here to try to get good info , and it’s nothing but formers and trolls -

We get enough treats from the company

Getting from you isn’t helping anyone
