The latest update

Well it looks like Fritz is already on the campaign trail, looking for a career in politics when he steps down as ceo later this month.

This is more to the share holders than management.

  • Clean out the whole entire executive floor they are arrogant people who have no business being where they are they think they are above the law and that's going to be this Railroads down fall.

  • Also share holders don't trust the numbers that they give you they cook the books, I have been on a train sitting in the yard but according to my paperwork and the public numbers they put out there my train departed the terminal 6 hours ago.

  • Warren Buffet was a majority share holder of UPRR he lives in Omaha NE, (where UP is headquartered) and knew the workings of this company inside and out. When Mr Buffet decided to buy a Railroad he chose BNSF ( headquartered in FT. Worth Tx). Let that sink in.

So a guy that has cost so many Nebraska families their livelihoods, and the negative downstream effects on those that sell goods and services to those very families....is going to run for an office in that State?

Why do you all think he has been bringing his wife to all of these ceremonies? Big boy, golden spike? Hes trying to represent himself as a family man with family values, thats politicking 101. Now hes trying to win over the african american community with his generous donations, trust me hes stepping down as ceo in a few weeks and moving away from Nebraska his house is already on the market.

UP is the second largest employer in Nebraska. No f---ing way will he win when he furloughed or laid off tons of his would-be voters. Berkshire Hathaway is number one, and you all know what Class 1 they own. They ain't gonna vote for him, either. Let's not forget to mention he has a sum total of zero political experience. The man is a rat and a joke.

I think it's safe to assume he won't be creating any jobs

The problem with Lance running for office is that nobody outside of Nebraska knows who he is, and nobody in Nebraska will vote for him.

What is he going to do if he becomes governor? Apply PSR to the state government? The only thing he has to run on in his record as CEO of UP. He will have everything from his low (13%) approval ratings, his job cuts, multiple lawsuits against his company, and EEO violations to answer for, and he doesn't have comprehensive non-platitude based answers for them.

Profits yes. We certainly all know which side he's batting for. But, there are people in 23 states who know how easily he sells out.

Don’t think working class people decide the results.
