Anyone else getting c-appy service from the NESC?

I was let go in May and I was lucky enough to be able to apply for retirement. I asked from my retirement package information on 5/22/19 and I am still waiting. Every week they call me to let me know they are still working on it. They said they would “escalate it last week”. I need to get my dental insurance going for my family. Is anyone else having this same c-appy delayed service?

Should current employees escalate through their supervisor and maybe a helpdesk ticket to HR? Just a thought as the NESC is worthless.

I opened a ticket in early May. My pension calculator won’t run. Every week, the NESC calls to say “your ticket is still in process.” Pure B.S. They have no clue. They do not interact with the mythical “Back Office.” They are simply there as a moat around the castle of incompetence and indifference that is HR/Payroll/PensionBenefits. Ford is not a family company. Not anymore. Not in decades.

As I reported earlier I called everyday at 9am to keep things moving. I did get pension going and only paid 2 months of Cobra dental. Getting it escalated seemed to be the key

To all employees, current and future: do not confuse Ford with either a loyal or compassionate company. They are neither.

If you just want a paycheck, or some ticks on your resume, yeah, sure. One pimp is as good as another. But a company to put some faith in? A company to invest in? No, I think not.

I retired in 2017. If you get/have the name of your case manager that can help the process. She rarely answered the phone but called back after getting my messages. I don't know that it makes it any faster but it is not as frustrating.

NESC is trash but the pension calculator is worked no just fine. Mine doubles in value this October ran the calculation yesterday. Then I look forward to the next round of cuts. Get a big severance and sweetheart pension will begin after 2 months of NESC ineptness. You won’t lose a pension check it will include the extra month from NESC delays. Thank you Ford!

NESC is a joke and FMC does not care. I left the company and it took me 5 weeks to secure Cobra insurance because the system was not updated and was showing me as an active employee. I know others who had their benefits screwed up during the transition to Alight earlier this year - like they lost family members off their plan. I have heard of active employees who cannot access their pension calculations. If the outsourcing of NESC is a glimpse into FMC's future decisions to always go with the low cost provider (suppliers and employees included), FMC is going down like the Titanic.

The NESC is outsourced like the inept Help Desk. Now they are overwhelmed. What do you expect? Ford to actually CARE about their employees? They don't. This is the worst I've ever seen it there.

The NESC totally s---s. The reps are doing their best, but they obviously are inexperienced and being paid next to nothing. I often vent at the rep, but end up apologizing (to the person, not the organization, which deserves ultimate scorn).

Ford is not a people company.

They like the rest of the company are clueless. You call and depending on who you get the answers are different for the same questions. So who knows what to believe. They just continue to screw us. I have called about my pension multiple times and got different answers every time. And then they got me over to a pension specialist who had no clue as to what the answers were. Don't know how it should take 30 days to process anything because they are "so behind". They knew months before who was being let go. Shows how incompetent HR and Management really are at Ford. Always a step behind.

The service from NESC Is horrible. If I call I’m on hold for up to two hours. Sometimes you get a person who is helpful and sometimes they’re clueless. They said they were sending my retirement paperwork through postal mail. I called several times only to hear they were working on it. A few weeks ago I found it as an attachment to an alert on the NESC site. It had been there for over a week. I have several other horror stories but don’t want to write a novel.
