I've been hearing that we are going to be getting bumped up to$15 starting pay. Any truth in this?

There are some news stories trying to extol😒 facts stories that the new federal minimum wage should be $15.
Over on CNN there is a map showing all states minimum wages.
Also in the past most starting wage increases with Walmart Inc have always begun on the fiscal year. And of course there have been some exceptions.
2 of our managers quit and 1 was fired they have already replaced them so i really dont think they will be getting rid of managers anytime soon
They will cut some assistant manager job's first before any more raises
Take a lesson from Amazon. They bumped their people to 15, and in the same breath also took away their bonuses and their stock.
Cant blame it on long term associates anymore. Been here 20 years and leads been here 2 years make more than me.

Once they let a few more long term go then you’ll get your bump in pay.
