Negotiations 101

Can Ginni and the Exec management team negotiate, or can they negotiate. OH by the way IBM board you approved this deal. Sell semiconductors and the plants to GF for a payment of 1.5 billion.. GF has now broken a piece of the sale apart and sold it for 650 million. Sure there would have been other costs associated with the GF deal, BUT these number seem to show IBM management really is bad at negotiating

GF folks are pretty shrewd negotiators, that's for sure, as they just sold their 300mm East Fishkill FAB (formerly owned by IBM) to ON Semi last month. Seems IBM Exec.'s didn't earn their Negotiation Badge. . .
