Is there ANY chance we can get a few-month reprieve?

I heard two weeks ago 700 people in NY were cut. Does anyone know if you can volunteer for a severance package? I want out. I can’t stand my boss and most of my co-workers. They are all afraid to lose their jobs and have become the most miserable people I have ever met. NY employee here.
