When are the layoffs? Are we closing the Spring office?

Awesome news!!! Seems right about mid year bonuses. This is great news. Going to payoff a few things with this nice bonuses!!!

I hear lay off in department of company where I at. Try to make high perform, but manager say no. Toilet smell on floor help not make me concentrate!

I think the announcement we will hear will be opposite of what is the usual doom and gloom. Our outstanding leaders have positioned us to be back as a “world class” company. I hear nothing but positive and enlightening things on every floor in our tower! Hopeful for great news!
What did I miss? What is the announcement? Will we be bought? Are we acquiring someone? Merger? Executive change? Layoffs? Hiring freeze? New Assets? I hope we acquire new assets and hire new people. I don’t think we will have layoffs! Our leadership is the best!!!

Asking for a friend, will there be layoffs this summer?
To be honest folks, we are only hiring individuals who have a proven amateur record in the plunger games. There haven’t been many resumes coming through with these necessary credentials. We only hire big leaguers here, as silly billy has mandated he wants some serious competition in his executive style porcelain games!
Rumor has it that in the latest playoff between Billy and the manager of the WV asset - they had to procure a special drill bit from Rig 40! No that’s some talent! Carry on. Layoffs soon!

WARN is the advance announcement. And it only pertains to layoffs reaching a certain percentage. 2016 was a WARN event, 2018 was a not. The best advance clue is watching your manager - is he not keeping eye contact, is he asking odd questions, ...

Possibly, there will be layoffs and closing the Spring office. Your instincts are probably accurate.
Layoffs? Not soon enough. Closing the Spring office? Would not make sense, so possibly. Downsizing again and moving the Spring office? Would make too much sense, so probably not.
I check the WARN website daily. It’s only a matter of time. Spring office should be gutted is my guess. Those closest to well head are ok.
