Has any other yards or mechanical units been getting hit? Multiple FRA guys all over global 2 and proviso this week. Talked to one when he asked about new hure furloughs, working conditions, derails, etc. Said they're noticing a lot of high risk lately and heard mechanical they've questioned about short staffing, further layoffs, and why inspections are being deferred.

No former Employee should be inspecting
their former railroad.
The FRA is loaded with rejects from the UPRR and other railroads. They make their money with violations (fines) and what better place to look than some place they’re familiar with.
Who does air slips on trains tied down on sidings past 4 hours anymore?
Just get on and move the train!
Orders are!
Proviso and g2 get these audits every year. They are not hitting as hard as they once did, Too many trains not getting inspected and forged air slips on run thru trains is the big problem
Are you telling us that the FRA is actually doing their job?
They are at Dupo Yard hitting them hard there I understand
Probably there for their next hush payment from the RR.
Of course the fra is at u.p yards, damage control propaganda at the beckon call of fritz and vena.
60 minutes story on FRA CORRUPTION.....

FRA inspector you speak of will take exception to small things, but none of the important company violations
FRA is in bed with BlackRock. Dont be fooled, this is all smoke and mirrors.
The MP&E FRA inspector for NLR worked for UP as an Electrician, Foreman, then FG. He's been working his home territory since he started with the FRA just a few years ago. That's a conflict of interest. And he still has family working at NLR for UP.
I doubt NLR gets hit very hard.... Mechanical anyway.
FRA is hitting UP hard this week.
Yes!!!
An FRA inspector was at the Fort Worth Diesel Shop earlier this week, not sure what he was looking for.
