Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Being a kiss-up works at Ford

Not sure about other locations but here we lost two of our best people while several lazy brown nosers are still here because they are good with the management. I don't even think they are nervous about the rest of the week, they probably know they're safe.

How is this good for business?

Our department the same. The harassed one lady for months. Would not provide training. Workers treated her like c-ap and she was the hardest worker of them all. The rest just s--- up to the boss and protect each others backsides. Really she should have filed a complaint months ago for the way she was treated by co-workers and managers. She had an easy slam dunk case but she did not want to file anything against Ford and she got let go for her loyalty.

The only one with more job security than a kiss-up is a diversity candidate.

Agreed. I think with less people managers are feeling less secure about getting things done well. Loyalty becomes more important than truth.

Putting on a show to protect the department is now Job 1
