Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Are any news outlets pressing leadership with the lies they’ve told?

Just a few examples below, but it’s disheartening when you hear leadership say one thing to the media then do something totally opposite. Just be honest for once. That’s all we ask for and you’ll still get your $15M check Hack.

1) Giving employees the option to wrap up work for a few days instead of being walked out

2) IT layoffs being made now after they said June

3) way more than 500 layoffs in NA as they mentioned

4) Releasing only the 85% pride in Ford stat from the pulse survey when hiding the fact that every other stat in that survey was below 50%

Pretty quiet in the media so far on day 2. According to the media so far:

-Don't worry you will find another job...and quickly.

-Trust the management at Ford. They know what's best.

-This all needed to be done for the good of everyone.

-The people let go were "executives" and "fat cats" anyway so they can afford to be let go.

-It's only 500 people losing their jobs...no big deal.

There is no human side to the reporting by the media. Another sign of the times.

How long will it take the to media report about the trickle-down from the cuts at Ford and GM?

Maybe after all the "For Sale" signs go up in Metro Detroit.

Yes, where is the real reporting?? They are buying the BS without question. Agree, Pulse and real layoff numbers are big ones

If you cut the Pulse by management level it's even worse.

Funny how they changed the way the pulse surveys were completed because a ton of lower level employees probably never filled it out. They also didn't have management advertise it.
