Sub pay when you have a part time job when you are let go

When I was let go from BNY I had a part time job. They told me that I could keep my second job and still collect sub pay. Was any one else told that? And what will happen if I go full time at that job? Will they cut my sub pay off? Anyone in the same situation?

Take all the SUB payments you can, it's on the "honor" system to notify them when you receive a full time job.

I'm not collecting unemployment because of the current part time job. So are you saying if I change positions of go full time with the same job it won't generate a new w-2nd or 1099, that I can still get my sub pay?

You would only report a new job if it will generate a W-2 or 1099 form.

They told me that I can keep my part time job but I am subject to Pay social security and medicaid tax now. Also unemployment will calculate your part time earnings into what you would receive. If you want to keep your part time, keep the hours low. I say 10 or less. At least this is how it works in my state.

As long as you collect unemployment you can also collect sub pay. But your part time job limits and may prevent you from collecting which in turn impacts your ability to get subpay.
