I worked for lowes for quite a few years. the management or lack of managers with any skills have just about brought the company to rock bottom. They will promote anybody that will not question their methods, any body that brings up something negative, especially about the store management will quickly be let go, That is why somebody needs to bring all store management to the table and make sure they are all on the same page and same book

Single moms who call out 15 times a year because of their “kids” being sick....... yea no wonder you’re not being promoted. Just because you’re a single mom doesn’t mean you work harder or can handle stress and certainly doesn’t mean you deserve a raise.
Look at your market staff...no nothing email forwarders who have no idea what is even going on.
So true; we have 19 year old head cashiers with 6 months experience promoted over single moms with 6 years experience who could use the increase to provide a better life for their children and themselves. The 19 year old kids spend all their time in the ops managers office talking sports and who knows what else.
They’d promote a ham sandwich with a pulse if they thought it would give head and work cheap.
Incompetent are always promoted if they are buddies with management and young.
