I went to my local Lowe’s today and wondered why you couldn’t get up and down the race track. There was stuff everywhere. Green carts full of junk and clearance piled everywhere. I think I counted 10 associates working on the floor this Memorial Day weekend.
yesterday was all corporate
today lowes will get swept into the wider panic over trade wars with china and when will the economy slow down.
essentially they have created a double wammy for themselves. not a good place to be in to be a stock that people are concerned about in a market that is growing with fear.
HD now looks a whole lot smarter. back at the end of the 4th quarter they took a much more conservative forecast for 2019 and the markets dinged them over it. when they announced their 1st quarter they kept their forecast the same. meanwhile marvin came out swinging for the fences and the stock skyrocketed. investors are now calling him for the liar he was. marvin thusly has now had to drastically lower his 2019 forecast.
It's still going down. $95.12 down 2.88% from yesterday's close.
But hey, we have a really nice fitness center to help with the stress.

Notice the stupid broadcasts about “ I remember when Lowes was beating us ....” when he was at depot which means he s---ed then

I guess you can’t win by selling gorilla tape and baking soda... who knew....
I’d rather work at a Pawn Shop @ this point, sure the pay is less but I believe you’d have more pride selling a used miter saw....
The only cure for days like this is to give the CEO a raise and vacation. He must be exhausted... sarcasm
