I'm curious as to how long in advance layoff numbers are approved and finalized before the employee is notified? I read on here that January layoffs were done in October. Thank you and good luck to all.

Holding up the facade that someone like Charlie has to maintain must be difficult. Luckily he has a golden parachute to soften the blow after he is removed by the board, and replaced by some other useless executive with a competing agenda. Zero continuity over time, and zero progress forward. Hopefully artificial intelligence will eventually replace the whimsical, king-like roles that cause more problems than they solve. Robots are our only chance at survival here.
With all the headlines and all the expectations, I have a pretty regular schedule: May (just happened), August (up next), November, and February.
We've been doing this since before I got here. You can set your clock by it.
Love, Charlie
We were told a couple of months ago that no employees in our team would be affected, but we might lose contractors who are due to renew their contracts soon. I haven't been in there this week, so I don't know if anyone is gone.
sounds about right. Of course they can change or add to the list at any time, but two months is the usual time.
