Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Think they jump into this transition to online sales to early?

Closing stores is dangerous and I think that VY leadership started way early with the trimming of the traditional retail footprint. A majority of people is still used to traditional stores, and by starting to eliminate them, VZ got nothing other than an army of unsatisfied customers. The sad thing is that they’re too stubborn to abandon that idea, even though they know they were wrong.

No one will ever trust an online shopping cart it just doesn’t make sense you can’t touch it.

News flash : Only 7% of Verizon’s business is online sales. Traffic and door swings are down because of the many different places a customer can buy a phone. Retail is far from dead it just over saturated itself.

Its cool. Authorized agents will pick up the slack for ya at a fraction of the cost. And since retail is on its way out, Verizon is wise to get out now and let the indirects take the fall. Its actually one of the few good strategies. Nice try OP troll.

News flash the internet is now. It's not even fair to call it "the future" because so many businesses have made this transition.
