They have cut the Mechanical Department severely. Cut all Fireman & Oilers, except 2. Kept the top 5 Electricians on the seniority list, and cut ALL Machinist. I've heard they cut the Carmen pretty deep too, only keeping so many, and out of those they have to hold their CDL's. Dont know about the Transportation side, yet.

I will say that at the town hall, the senior VP of transportation who is in charge of the clean sheeting (Farrell) used Linwood as an example of a location that doesn't make much sense to send locomotives to.
