Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

UP ceo lost another percentage point on Glassdoor in a weeks timeframe

Down to 14% approval now. Can he make it to 0% by the end of the year? I think he can.

The approval rating on there means plenty to people checking out the company. There are CEOs with high approval ratings and low approval ratings. In fact at the end of the year Glassdoor usually releases a list of highest ranked ceos and a list of the lowest.

So this has nothing to do with shareholder price or whatever guy below is talking about. Rather it is just something else for job seekers to look at when considering UP. A CEO with an approval rating of 14% means run don’t walk from this company.

Glad to see that current and former employees are doing their part and spreading the word.

Jesus you guys are id--ts. The only people that rate a ceo on Glassdoor are the bums that got let go. Get a clue - if he doesn’t do this the shareholders replace him with someone that is 10 times worse. Oh and I can’t wait for the guys that say “we will strike or show them who’s boss” - yeah ask the guys in Hinkle how that strategy worked. Do your job and try to make your owners happy- don’t think for a second that a Glassdoor rating means anything.

Functionally speaking, there isn't much difference between 14% approval and 0% approval.

Accounting for statistical error and rounding up, that Glassdoor rating basically tells us that 9/10 people who have or do work for him disapprove of his leadership and the direction of the company.

If 90% of the people working for a company hate you, there is is no way that you should expect to effectively run that company.
