This is pretty much it. So my advice is to get your resume in order and start sending it out. Job security is not returning to BNYM any time soon...
The company wants the culture of fear. They think everyone will work harder to try to protect their role. And many will. But it’s not sustainable and if you aren’t the hustle/cut throat of NYC move on. This place is a dinosaur. Wealth management is DOA with a 3 year contract CEO trying to boost profit margins at all expense.. it’s not working. Just sell it already.
