How long after sending back the paper work does the SUB start?
Thanks
Your sub pay will be your regular salary, however, you will be getting more money because you are no longer contributing to 401k, vacation day purchase and you are no longer paying state taxes. Additionally, you can apply for state unemployment and take in more money.
In preparing for the worst or best, depending how you look at it, Is Sub Pay your regular paycheck, or does unemployment work with sub pay to make up your regular paycheck? Can your apply for unemployment after your sub pay runs out in case you do not get a new job?
If you send in your paperwork before the date they detailed in your papers, then you’ll get a pain-paycheck on the same schedule as you were getting with your regular pay checks. If you miss their date then your sub-pay will include the period you missed and you’ll get one big check, then revert back to the normal cycle of sub-payments. Be sure to call or go online within 5 days of receiving your sub-pay because if you miss doing that, you can kiss the rest of your money goodbye!
Complete you SUB paperwork ASAP and apply for unemployment immediately, don't wait. Then use Right Management to sharpen your resume and interview skills. Good luck and be happy you got a SUB package.
If you have the paperwork in on time, you will receive everything you're entitled to on a bi-monthly schedule. You shouldn't see any irregularities in your payment schedule.
Will there be any gap in payments from my last paycheck to when the SUB starts
If you send it in within a specific time frame then yes you will receive all of it. You may only receive a portion if it's late but will eventually get it all. HR should've told you the date they need it by to ensure you receive your full sub payment.
I plan on mailing my paperwork back tomorrow. I will get a 6/15 SUB payment?
Sub pay works like normal pay periods.
