UP posting today about how they spared no expense in the recent flood recovery because that’s how much they care about their community. As I was reading I was wondering how many of the employees they praised for helping in the recent flood efforts have been laid off already and are thus former employees.

Anyone who has worked at UP for more than month would know this is an example of how they approach PR.
This is just another example of the peculiar combination of duplicity, aloofness, and incompetence that drives the decisions of UPRR management in all endeavors.
