Am I the only one who is really confused about all of the different designations going on here. What is left of old sears? Who do they employee and what are they fighting for. There are no store fronts they have no brands so I’m really confused as to what they think they can become. Does old sears plan on operating as a company?

Old sears is basically a shell entity that is supposed to be winding down operations. It is essentially an estate with no employees (that I know of) and is represented/run by the attorneys and MIII Partners / Mo Meghji who was the third party Chief Restructuring Officer Eddie brought in at the beginning of the bankruptcy who is apparently not that friendly with Mr L anymore judging by the court filings.
I'm confused by all of this, it's mind boggling in many ways....anyway long live the N--roes!

They may have some cash left from whatever Eddie paid out to complete the sale. Eddie wants any extra cash back now that the sale is done because he has nothing to lose in trying.
It’s all very strange. Any other company would have died off and then put out of its misery long ago. Completely bizarre
