The biggest problem at IBM is management doesn’t have a clue who is doing what. We have people who work for managers they never see. Procurement employees in the US , work for management that are in other countries, it’s terrible. Then you have rankings, 3 , 2 and 1’s . How people are rated is a joke, if the managers have no idea what their employees are doing, how can they rate anyone ? This is why we have layoffs, IBM believes younger employees can figure out the mess that was created. Good luck with that.
