Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

June quota increase?????

Just curious how quotas look in stores in June compared to May? Our store's quota increased near 20% month over month which seems crazy. No one hit numbers last month , and they sure as hell aren't going to hit them this month with these quotas. As a GM it is near impossible to motivate your reps who all know they have no shot of making any money because quotas are unobtainable. Anyone else's quota jump that much?

About the same here, which still isn’t bad. Roll up is only 9K. So hitting 200% for a good multiplyer isn’t bad. Quotas have been low and been making 3-4 a month. The new structure rocks.

I would walk into a Radio Shack over a slam fest con shop Verlieson store any day of the week.

There are no adults at Verizon. Just man babies with their side chicks that get promoted by sleeping around. Adult perspective....pleeeaase!

Let’s look at from an adult perspective and remove emotions. When is the last time a phone was “sold” in a store? By the time the customers walk in, they know what they want. Up selling is the only way to make a difference. Wanting $80k to process transactions that Radio Shack used to do will find the same results.

Solution: Fk those r----ded A Fing “Mid-Coaches” which don’t do “Jack” besides stretching the transaction with those stupid A* quotes as well, on top of that. It just “kinda”, “sorta” justifies the SMs job since they don’t or sometimes don’t like do much anyways or helping out, besides getting paid. Simply put, Fk this st! Guess what folks? We’re losing money, right & “They” don’t care, so let’s “Them” lose money by not accomplishing what they need to get paid, let’s totally screw them over like we are every given month, I mean for god’s sake there’s gotta b an end to this greed!! At this time, since st has already hit the fan, lets ALL go Union.

Same , ours went up 25% completely unattainable and everyone knows they won’t make any money so why even try to sell. In my opinion they are hurting themselves by making it harder for reps to feel like they have a chance.

Bucket went from 8500 to 11,800, news and renews up about 25 percent, it's a joke, 1 person in out store hit numbers last month, most employees are looking to leave ( I think this is what the company wants ), no morale, people feel they don't have a chance of even getting close to quotas...we are being set up to fail!!! Nobody even wants to try anymore....this company is running itself into the ground.....

Consider yourself lucky as our stores quota went up 30%. I dont see an issue actually making quota but good luck hitting a 2,3 or 4K check....impossible. I have heard more union talk in the last few weeks then in my entire 12 year career.
