Ford Is Working on Package-Delivering Robots That Fold Up Inside Self-Driving Cars

These days, we keep hearing automakers talk about all the partnerships they’re forming for autonomous cars, car sharing, large-scale electrification, and just general “mobility solutions.” A lot of it is b---s--- meant to make the companies appear on the cutting edge, and some is legit research. I won’t speculate which camp this new Ford package-delivery robot research falls into, but I will say that I don’t mind the concept.

Not so sure FMC employees will be the ones doing the robotics. Would suspect that is left to college partnerships, like the one with U of M where Ford is building a robotics lab.

Lol, Ford won't be able to design and deliver a working robot ever. The abomination that is Sync can barely even manage the radio without locking up after all these years!

Blockchain based micro integrated data cells will also become a major game changer in the next decade when fully integrated into autonomous robotic vehicles.

No need to brush up on robotic skills as the robots will be your replacement!! Better to brush up you skills on operating a cash register - until that goes away shortly too!
