2ziw. First of neither hans nor lowell nor ivan had business degrees. I think lowell had a engineering degree but anyway you dont dont just work at becoming ceo . These jobs were all handed to them. Lowell knew he was next ceo 5 years before ivan left. The good ole boys club. You id--t. Let me guess you still think hard work pays off too ?? Lmao

@1scx , you should have went to business school and then worked on being a ceo . And if you have been here 30 years and need a handout , you did something wrong

It does s--- to have to beg for money after working for 30 years for a company. What really s---s is that the cfo ceo coo and their underlings dont have to beg . They just get millions handed to them . And most of them dont even work here for 30 years .

Work for 30 years and practically beg for a handout on a layoff site. What a sad, sad, waste of life.

@1udv, the way to "get in on this" is to start as a young man or woman, dedicate yourself to the success of a company by toiling hard for 25 or 30 years in all manner of weather and adversity, and pay your dues. It is not for the faint of heart or the weak.

I am on the wireless side and just took the VSP. Maybe I can get in on this EISP before I leave this month. I love all this free money being thrown my way! I could use the EISP as a nice little bonus to kick off my 3 month vacation to Europe this summer. How do I get in on this? Or should I ask on the "wireless board"?

@yht, the offer can even go beyond what you describe, if they're driven to vacate the payroll en masse and in a timely manner.

@wbm: Point is, anyone calling this a handout, or think we just sleep and drink beer, is on the outside looking in. Most likely just doing a bit of sh---stirring. I said “most craft workers”. It’s not about just me. But yeah, I worked my a-- off.

When you say once a year does this mean to a department or once a year overall?

Not sure why this is such a mystery, in your current contract the company can offer the super eisp once a year which is 2200 plus 10,000 plus 40,000 for those titles that are and can be declared surplus. Period. And history shows this usually happens end of 3rd or 4th quarter.

@zmg : I spent my 30 years outside , but slow your roll thinking how important or hard you work .

I spent my whole career outside, as a tech. Mostly as a splicer. Before you start tossing out insults, what do you do all day? I’m guessing it would look like a picnic next to most craft worker’s days. So shoo.

No handout today. Post this again tomorrow and maybe the EISP fairy will come and leave a beer for you under your work helmet while you are sleeping during the day.
