Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Hard to understand what people are missing....DSD is ending!

Trimming costs and implementing other changes have made a difference in how Mondelez operates, according to Luca Zaramella, the company's CFO, who spoke at CAGNY.

"We’re starting to run the business in a fundamentally different way," Zaramella said. "As we continue pivoting to a more growth-oriented model, we will benefit from work over the last few years that has strengthened our base and platform."

It’s time some pull up their big people pants and realize what is going on! Sad that management continues to “frame things” to give a perception, and people latch on and then frame that to fit their needs.

It won’t change any outcome! The writing is on the wall and has been! When things are firmly in place, and management has poised themselves to be in the best place to deliver the news, we will find out. Until then, it will appear business as usual! That’s best for Mondelez but certainly not best for employees. Up to individuals to figure this one out. Good luck, I’ve certainly drawn my conclusion and positioned myself well for what I believe the future holds. All you can do.
