Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Honeywell collapse is coming in the next 2-5 years

All retired and then the company collapses and shrinks into an Indian and Chinese company. Manufacturing will close

What a c-appy company!

With the Raytheon/UTC merger on the horizon, the timeline for Aero's demise just ramped up.

Clueless. The young people I meet are more than smart enough to keep the company going. What will k--l Honeywell is that there is absolutely no reason for those smart young people to stay. They will come learn and take that knowledge to the highest bidder or their own company. No pension, no health insurance, hassle every day... cya. Ping pong and donut days won’t keep them around. Three years and on to the next company.

Too Funny.

The demise of this company has been predicted for the last 35 years...always coming 5 years hence. It scared the daylights out of me as a new hire. Two missed deadlines for total colapse later, I learned to not worry about it. It was a great job for 15 years, an "OK" job for 10 years, and a lousy job for 8 years. However, it paid the bills then and it still does now.

Time for some folks to put on their big girl panties.

The demise of the company was correctly predicted. However, the timing was not correctly predicted. When all these retirees go away, then the company's foundation will collapse and there will be no more smart and experienced people to hold the company up.

TM (CEO) already knows this and hence he wants to keep the stock price up for cash out. Simple logic. Not voodoo predictive magic. It will collapse. PMT and other areas will remain.

Lol. Fram filters are not honeywell.

They were divested way back in 2011.

I agree with the 5 year time window. They have sold off every company asset that they owned. They are already getting rid of employees left and right in order to keep their free cash flow at the levels that wall street is expected. There are only so many benefits and employees left that they can get rid of before they will no longer be able to attract replacement engineers or actually make any new products. Expect a bunch of golden parachutes to be deployed at the executive level in the next couple years.

Honeywell employees have been predicting the demise of the company for the past 10 years. Hate to tell you but the company is doing awesome and will around much longer than all of you complainers (AKA - Aero Deer Valley engineers)

Your pension will continue after Honeyhell swirls down the c_apper. Pensions are in a 3rd party and not in HH control. I too do not buy ANYTHING with an HoneyHell logo of subsidies such as Fram filters which are total GARBAGE.

I hope they can keep paying my meager pension for the next ten years otherwise I'd be rooting for them to go straight into the c-apper. I boycott any product with the Honeywell name.
