Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Heading towards recession, how will the bank fare?

Looks like US is due for another recession. How will the bank fare? Layoffs? GT&O layoffs? Certain LOBS and teams more vulnerable than others?

Send more jobs offshore. It's what they do best. Keep destroying the American middle class, make the numbers look good and get their incentive bonus.

If the American consumer takes a hit, the consumer side of the bank will feel pain. I'd also be concerned about exposure to leveraged loans - i.e., high risk loans to businesses and individuals. Then you have Warren Buffet talking about the dangers of derivatives. I guess time will tell whether the fortress Balance Sheet is really solid. I also have real doubts that the younger generation now in middle management will have the experience to navigate the next recession.
